What’s New — July 2026
July focused on the work that happens after planning: preparing activities, making sense of large amounts of community input, producing defensible reports, and coordinating delivery across a team.
Results and reporting
One-click Outcomes Report drafting
Once Results are ready, Draft from results creates an editable, cited Outcomes Report grounded in the analysed evidence. Existing document review and approval controls still apply: EVA prepares the draft; the project team remains responsible for the conclusions. Learn about Outcomes Reports.
More reliable analysis for larger consultations
Results analysis now runs as background work, handles larger uploads directly through secure storage, and notifies practitioners when analysis finishes. Existing results remain usable while longer jobs run.
Delivery and activity preparation
An activity-first Delivery workspace
Delivery now presents one phase and one activity at a time. The phase overview places milestones and activities in chronological order, while each activity brings its details, design, tasks, debrief, and files into one workspace. Learn about Delivery.
Engagement Library and recommendations
The Engagement Library gives organisations a reusable catalogue of methods and locally approved practice guidance. Recommendations consider project objectives, the IAP2 promise, stakeholder barriers, practical constraints, and the platforms available to the organisation—without presenting missing information as certainty. Learn about the Engagement Library.
Team and product guidance
Project ownership and Project Team
Project owners can assign or transfer ownership, distinguish project membership from organisation access, and manage the team from one page. Safeguards prevent a project from accidentally being left without an owner. Learn about Project Team.
EVA can answer questions about CE Canvas
EVA can now answer practical “How do I…?” questions using the maintained CE Canvas documentation and the state of the current project. When the documentation does not support an answer, EVA should say so rather than invent a feature. Learn about working with EVA.
