Beta features are live capabilities being tested with customers before wider release. The core workflow is usable, but its interface, limits, or availability may change as we learn. A beta label does not remove the need for practitioner review, privacy controls, or support.

Guided Conversations · Beta
Availability: Selected organisations.
Run natural, plan-grounded conversations for open-ended information needs, or combine a structured survey core with a conversation. Current beta work includes identity-question authoring, multi-stakeholder membership, conditional follow-ups, transcript-backed review, representativeness, and participant withdrawal. Explore Topics · Beta
Availability: Organisations with Results analysis and enough qualifying open-text responses.
Explore groups responses by meaning, offers several views of the topic structure, and links every topic back to its underlying responses. Treat it as an exploratory reading aid; promote topics into Themes when they belong in the project’s curated analysis. Learn about Explore Topics.
Design with EVA · Beta
Availability: Enabled per organisation.
EVA can help design an engagement activity and prepare editable materials grounded in the project, its stakeholder barriers, and the confirmed engagement method. Practitioners review and edit every artifact before using it. Learn about activity materials.
EVA Voice Input · Beta
Availability: Enabled per organisation.
Dictate into the EVA chat box instead of typing, using the practitioner’s browser speech recognition. Recognised text lands in the chat box for review — nothing is sent until you send it. Learn about voice input.
AI Assistants (MCP) · Beta
Availability: Enabled per organisation.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any Model Context Protocol client to read your projects and make additive changes (create a project, update a canvas section, add a note), with access scoped to each user’s own permissions. Assistants can’t add members, and an organisation can require every change to be approved in-app. Learn about AI Assistants (MCP).
SharePoint connection · Limited beta
Availability: Selected Microsoft 365 organisations.
Connect a SharePoint folder to Project Materials and synchronise supported documents into CE Canvas for use as grounded project sources. The limited beta is validating Microsoft tenant setup, folder selection, exclusions, ongoing synchronisation, and operational support. Learn about Microsoft SharePoint.
Organisation Insights · Beta
Availability: Enabled per organisation; visible to owners and admins.
Organisation Insights brings together cross-project patterns in methods, stakeholder reach, community themes, outcomes, closing the loop, and practice health. It is designed to examine the organisation’s engagement practice, not rank individual practitioners. Learn about Organisation Insights.
When a beta changes status
- If a beta becomes generally available, its original monthly entry remains as history and its new availability is announced in a later update.
- If access remains limited, announcements are sent only to eligible or invited organisations.
- If a beta is retired, this page records the change and affected organisations are contacted directly where action is required.
